Throughout this site, the terms “we,” “us,” “our,” and “Three Rivers Vintage” refer to the company and its operations. By accessing our website, browsing content, placing an order, or using any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (also referred to as “Terms of Use” or “Terms”), including our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, Return & Refund Policy, and Payment Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please discontinue use of our website and services immediately.

Section 1 – Eligibility & Acceptable Use

By using this website and our services, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least the age of legal majority in your state or province of residence (typically 18 years of age or older).
• You have the legal authority to enter into a binding agreement with us.
• You will not use our products or services for any illegal, unauthorized, or unlawful purpose.
• You will not transmit any worms, viruses, malware, or any code of a destructive or harmful nature.
• You will not attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, accounts, or data, or interfere with the normal operation of our website.
• All information you provide to us-including your name, address, payment details, and contact information-is accurate, current, and complete.

Termination of Services: A breach or violation of any of these Terms will result in immediate termination of your access to our services and may result in legal action. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at our sole discretion.

Section 2 – Our Products: Authentic Vintage Items and Modern Pieces

Three Rivers Vintage specializes in two distinct product categories, each clearly identified and labeled:

Authentic Vintage Items (1860s–1980s)

We offer authentic, hand-curated vintage clothing and accessories spanning the 1860s through the 1980s. Every item in our authentic vintage collection is a genuine one-of-a-kind piece, personally selected for its authenticity, character, and condition.

Authenticity Guarantee: All items labeled as “Authentic Vintage” are genuine vintage pieces from the era stated in the product description. We carefully authenticate each vintage piece and inspect it thoroughly before offering it for sale. We do not sell reproductions or modern items labeled as vintage.

One-of-a-Kind Inventory: Because every item is a unique vintage piece, we do not carry duplicate stock. Once an item is sold, it is no longer available.

Condition Disclosures: All items are professionally cleaned, steamed, and measured before listing. Any known imperfections, signs of age, or condition issues are disclosed in the product description and photographs. Minor signs of age-such as slight fading or natural patina-are inherent to authentic vintage garments and are not considered defects. These characteristics are always disclosed in our product descriptions and photos.

Measurements & Sizing: Because vintage sizing differs significantly from modern sizing, we provide detailed measurements for every item. We strongly encourage customers to compare these measurements against their own before purchasing. We are not responsible for fit issues where the item’s measurements match those listed on the product page.

Accuracy of Listings: We make every effort to accurately represent each item through photography and written descriptions. However, colors may appear slightly different on your screen due to monitor calibration and display settings. All product descriptions include information about the item’s era, authenticity status, condition, and any known imperfections.

Modern Pieces Inspired by Vintage Aesthetics

We also carefully curate a selection of modern graphic tees and contemporary pieces that celebrate vintage design aesthetics. These items are:

Clearly Labeled: All modern pieces are marked as “Modern,” “Contemporary,” or “Modern Reproduction” in all product listings and category pages.

Distinctly Categorized: Modern pieces are separated from our authentic vintage collection in our online store and are not presented as vintage items.

Transparently Described: Full information about materials, manufacturing, production year, and condition is provided for all modern pieces.

Appropriately Priced: Modern pieces are priced to reflect their contemporary production and materials, which are typically lower than comparable authentic vintage items.

Section 3 – Product Representation & Authenticity

We are committed to complete transparency and accuracy in all product representations.

Authenticity Claims: Any item labeled as “Authentic Vintage” is guaranteed to be a genuine vintage piece from the era stated in the product description. If we misrepresent the authenticity of an item, you are entitled to a full refund regardless of the item’s condition, as outlined in our Return & Refund Policy.

Product Categories: Every product is clearly assigned to one of the following categories:

• Authentic Vintage (with era specified, e.g., “1970s Vintage”)
• Modern/Contemporary (with production year if available)

No Misrepresentation: We do not sell modern reproductions labeled as authentic vintage, and we do not sell counterfeit items. All items are represented accurately as to their authenticity, era, and condition.

Product Descriptions: All product descriptions include:

• Authenticity status (Authentic Vintage or Modern)
• Era or production year
• Detailed condition information
• Accurate measurements
• Material composition (when known)
• Any known imperfections or signs of age

Section 4 – Pricing & Order Acceptance

Currency: All prices are displayed and charged in USD (United States Dollars).

Price Accuracy: Prices displayed at the time of checkout are the prices that will be charged for your order. We reserve the right to update prices at any time without prior notice; however, any price change will not affect orders that have already been placed and confirmed.

Order Acceptance: Placing an order on our website constitutes an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or modify any order at our discretion—including orders that appear to contain errors, violate our policies, or involve suspected fraud. If we cancel or modify your order, we will notify you via email, and any payment collected will be refunded promptly.

By submitting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use that content solely in connection with our services.

Section 7 – Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Three Rivers Vintage shall not be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages of any kind arising from:

• Your use of our website or services.
• Any products purchased through our website.
• Interruptions, errors, or unavailability of our website or services.
• Unauthorized access to your account or personal information.
• Actions or failures of third-party service providers (e.g., shipping carriers, payment processors).

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of our services shall not exceed the total amount you paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so the above limitations may not apply to you in full.

Exception for Authenticity Claims: Notwithstanding the above, if we misrepresent the authenticity of a vintage item, you are entitled to a full refund as outlined in our Return & Refund Policy, and this limitation of liability does not apply to such claims.

Section 8 – Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Three Rivers Vintage, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to:

• Your violation of these Terms of Service.
• Your violation of any applicable law or regulation.
• Your infringement of any third-party intellectual property rights.
• Your use of our website or services in an unauthorized or unlawful manner.

Section 9 – Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

Governing Law: These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, USA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Informal Resolution: We encourage customers to contact us first to resolve any concerns informally. Our support team is available Tuesday–Wednesday, 11:00 AM–5:00 PM ET. We are closed all other days of the week.

Arbitration: If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, both parties agree that any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA). You agree to waive your right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action lawsuit. Arbitration will take place in the State of Pennsylvania, USA.

Section 10 – Severability & Entire Agreement

Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or severed if modification is not possible. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement: These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy, Shipping, Return, and Payment policies, constitute the entire agreement between you and Three Rivers Vintage regarding your use of our website and services.

Section 11 – Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of our website and services after any changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
